Tasting Notes
This bourbon opens with inviting aromas of fruitcake and vanilla layered over charred oak and brown sugar, complemented by subtle notes of amaretto, clove, and a touch of cream soda sweetness. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, delivering flavors of caramel and butterscotch before transitioning to leather, oak, and cracked black pepper. Hints of blood orange and dried fruit provide balance and brightness, while custard, pecans, and a root beer candy note create a complex and satisfying mid-palate. The finish is medium to long, offering a gentle Kentucky hug with lingering oak spice, toffee, toasted almonds, honeyed cream, and vanilla that gradually fade into a smooth, sweet conclusion.

Behind the Bottle
Designed to feel personal and meaningful, Girl Dad Bourbon reflects the stories and moments that make fatherhood special. The label incorporates subtle hidden details inspired by the creator's own daughter, adding a unique touch to the overall presentation. Finished with the brand's signature pink wax seal, every element was intentionally selected to create a bottle that feels memorable, collectible, and worthy of displaying on any bar.

What People Are Saying
“Introducing @girldadbourbon A 7+ year, 101 proof Kentucky distillate (64 corn, 24 wheat, 12 malted barley) The Nose: One of the richest brown sugar notes I’ve ever gotten on a nose with layers of vanilla cream and subtle caramel – there is also this crazy cherry twizzler note, but only the “pull-n-peel” kind. I also get hints of butterscotch as it opens up in the glass. The Palate: Those brown sugar notes are met with some present baking spices with clove leading the way. The cherry note on the nose blends nicely into the background on mid palate and is more evident on the finish. I get those same vanilla cream notes as well as some waves of confectionery sugar. The Finish: Lingering finish that probably took around 30–40 seconds to completely dissipate. The proof is spot on at 101 and offers a pretty well rounded pour. This is definitely a pour worthy and strong enough for the best girl (and boy) dads out there. You can buy this right now at @seelbachsspirits. Cheers to all of the real dads out there who know how to enjoy their whiskey, but fiercely love their daughters (and sons) even better. This sample was gracious provided by @girldadbourbon – all copy, notes and opinions are my own unless stated otherwise. Enjoy responsibly!”
“As a father of two beautiful little girls, the moment I heard this release was dropping, I knew it had an absolute permanent spot on my shelf. But let’s clear the air right out of the gate: this pour is no gimmick. Don’t let the playful name, the bright pink wax, or the unicorn label fool you—this isn’t some one-trick pony. This is a solid, quintessential Kentucky straight bourbon through and through. Going in, I fully expected a sugar-bombed, sweet-leaning pour. The nose definitely tries to trick your mind into thinking you’re walking into a candy shop, hitting you with rich waves of caramel, brown sugar, and heavy vanilla. But once you actually take a sip? The palate shifts gears completely. Instead of a liquid dessert, you get a beautifully structured layer of Honey Nut Cheerios, warm baking spices, vanilla, a distinct note of herbal black tea, and a solid backbone of oak. It wraps up with a fantastic medium finish where that oak and baking spice really get to shine at 101 proof. Priced at $80, it’s a bottle anyone can genuinely sit back and enjoy without having to chase the exhaustion of paying $120–$150 for trendy 7-to-8-year bottles. That being said… I’d be completely lying if I said this juice didn’t just hit a little bit harder when you’re a dad of a couple of little future heartbreakers. (Please note: “Unicorn” is not an official tasting note, it’s just for fun! ) #2bros1bottle #girldadbourbon #bourbonthieves #bourbon #fathersday”
